Hello, I would like to replace my screen on my iPhone 11 Pro. However, I accidentally ripped off the flex cable from the Face ID sensor. My question is, can I replace that and if so with what parts. Strangely enough, all the sensors are inside the device for me, and not on the screen itself (like other repair guides).

Get the aftermarket screen installed and press the power button to turn on the phone. Go to Settings>General>About to check the software version of the phone - iOS 13.2. Tap Display & Brightness. We can see that the true tone option has vanished. Power off and remove the aftermarket screen.

If this is the case, you will see Face ID keep telling you to adjust your head or take very weird angle to add new face. Face ID failed, Apple fault.
