The biggest difference between the Evolution and the Evo NXT is the cover material. The Evolution has a premium micro-fiber cover that provides a soft feel that players have loved for years. According to the transfer speed test, QVO can reach 80MB/s, while EVO can transfer data at 300MB/s. However, Samsung has developed the Intelligent TurboWrite technology, which allows lower-quality SSD to stimulate the read and write speeds of technically superior SSD. My search has lasted years and really started with a Nexstar 6se vs 8se aperture debate several years ago and then learned about the Evolution mount. I definitely want the Evo mount for its benefits and an 8” since am no longer having to move around and that seems like a sweet spot for aperture vs weight with the 9.25 being too heavy/big.

MR: 6 spd flappy paddle. 4B11T motor (291 hp). Same turbo as the GSR. Heavier than the GSR, so if anything, its slower. Eibach spring/Bilstein strut combo.
